Facebook is an American online social media and social networking service owned by Meta Platforms. Founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg with fellow Harvard College students and roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes.

Facebook can be accessed from devices with Internet connectivity, such as personal computers, tablets and smartphones. After registering, users can create a profile revealing information about themselves.

Instagram

-Instagram is an American application, the function is to share photos and videos with other users. Its commonly used by teenagers.

-This aplication was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, it was launched on October 6, 2010. 

-Instagram also has a private means of communication to talk called Instagram Direct, and a function called Stories

-According to DataReportal data in January 2020, Instagram was the sixth most used social network worldwide, with around 1 billion monthly active users.
